BRIEF

Westminster School host a charity fundraising dinner every 5 years to raise money for their bursary scheme at the school. Story was engaged to produce and deliver the evening from creative concept, logistical management to onsite management completely transforming the space into a 1930s haven.

DELIVERY

We transformed Lawrence Hall (part of Royal Horticultural Halls) into a beautiful and elegant 1930s setting for the evening. Guests were welcomed by traditional bell hop boys, who were on hand to direct guests to the balcony where the drinks reception was taking place. The main space featured large palm trees to create an archway to the seated dinner, with striking large art deco lampshades as table centres, as well as blue and purple uplighters to add to the atmosphere. The delicious dinner was prepared by Jimmy Garcia with a simple and tasteful presentation style to pay tribute to the 1930s.

RESULTS

The evening was a great success with 150 guests in attendance, delicious food and beverages and great prizes up for grabs at the silent and live auction.
