The summer of sport has well and truly begun!
Friday 11th June saw the Euros return to our screens having been postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic. We love watching people from all over London come together to support their home teams. The feeling of camaraderie created by this international football tournament, whether celebrating or commiserating, is exciting and absolutely infectious. So, that’s why we’ve rounded up 7 of our favourite venues to watch the upcoming games…
The Garden at Kentish Town
This venue is transforming into an epic Euro 2021 fan-zone this summer! North London’s biggest beer garden will be screening every minute of the action on 2 huge LED screens. Bud Light are sponsoring an array of great beer packages and there will be international street food and live entertainment on offer too.
Based on a historic 114-year-old Dutch Barge, this floating restaurant is full of charm and rustic decor. Its outdoor deck has a magical view of the London skyline and Olympic Stadium. Barge East will be screening all the action from its quirky canal-side location. They will be serving local craft brews and tasty flatbreads, while you enjoy the games on the 75 inch HD screens. An undeniably unique Euro experience!
The Prince West London
The sun is shining, the pub is open and an iconic season of sport is waiting. Get yourself to this fantastically floral venue where all Euros fixtures with England and the knockout stages will be streamed live on 2 large projectors and HD screens. Ticket holders will not only be guaranteed a prime viewing spot but also a complimentary pint of Camden Hells!
Bounce takes their sports seriously. Whether it’s ping pong, football or shuffleboard they pride themselves on creating an electric atmosphere for all the fans. This year the tournament will be broadcast on their whopping screen, with the sound up high. The all inclusive package means you can focus on the game as they serve you bottomless pizzas and beers throughout. It’s much more than just fun and games to this venue!
The Refinery Bankside
This restaurant is renowned for its innovative cocktails, global wines and an impressive organic menu. However, it’s also a perfect place to watch the Euros in London this year. Based in the Blue Fin Building in Bankside, the venue has a new large screen set-up on their delightful terrace. This alfresco set-up ensures you won’t miss a moment of the action.
Munich Cricket Club Victoria
Munich Cricket Club is an authentic German themed bar in London. Serving up amazing match day accompaniments of cured meats and cheese platters, pretzels as well as traditional Bavarian dishes like foot-long bratwurst and the famous Weinerschnitzel. Pre-order mini 20L kegs of imported beer, so you can easily pull your own stein at the table and never miss a moment of the action. Alongside screening a great roster of Euro matches, there’s also live music three times a week from an Oompah brass band!
The G.O.A.T Clapham Pop-Up
The G.O.A.T is a lively new pop-up in Clapham, which invites you to cheer on the Three Lions this summer. The stadium like atmosphere is helped by the massive HD screen with cinematic sound, but also a live band who whip up the crowd at halftime with all the classic England football songs. The terrace area is full to the brim with Euros themed decor and styling. Making it feel like England will be able to bring it home this year. For those who want a crazy and electric environment, there is no better place to watch the Euros 2021!
