Melanie is one of the original 5 who started at Story and has been building the fantastic Story client base and Story team ever since day one.
Delivering a fully 1920’s prohibition themed, jam packed with entertainment, Christmas event at Café de Paris was so great. The client allowed us to go wild with the brief which was such fun.
WHAT I HAVE LEARNT
That building relationships is key – we have such a wide range of clients and so no two days are ever the same. Having our clients return to us time and time again and coming up with new ways ti impress them is always so rewarding.
Don’t just aim to answer a brief – always exceed expectations and remember to include the ‘wild card’.
My favourite venues and suppliers come down to the people I trust to deliver – I just love everything about the Silver Sturgeon and what it has to offer. Their service, catering, space, views and flexibility is all at a very high standard. Luckily we get to work onboard all the time.

From the sales team taking on the initial brief and developing the creative, right through to the immaculate delivery form our operations team.
