The Story team were tasked with finding a quirky space which allowed for some creative, immersive twists and could adapt throughout the evening. The venue must allow for party space and a chill-out zone, plus of course quality food and drink.

The decision was easily made – The Vaults. 2019 saw the theme The Red Palace; a Gothic masquerade that breathed new life into some well-known fairy tales. This offered a fantastic narrative for guests to get involved with and Story negotiated on the event inclusions, rates and entertainment on behalf of the client.

The 200 guests were welcomed by characters from the fairy tales including Wolfie, The Prince and Snow White. It was key for our team to manage guest flow, allowing them to fully explore and journey through each themed room. The entertainment and production was unlike any other, wowing many and encouraging the brave to get in involved. All whilst enjoying the delicious food and drink being circulated.

Room opening times were staggered, allowing for a main DJ room to be separate from the chill out space, and guests couldn’t get enough of the bespoke photobooth we provided in Snow White’s Boudoir. Guests danced the night away among the brilliantly immersive acts!

The client was thrilled with how the event was delivered, noting how attentive our team has been from the very beginning, making all the difference. We look forward with working with this client again in 2020!

“I just wanted to say a heartfelt thanks for looking after us so well tonight – and, in fact right from the moment we engaged you. We were commenting on the way to the venue tonight how great the experience had been in the run up to tonight and the night itself has really delivered.

You’ve been so attentive to every detail throughout and that has made all the difference.

…I wanted to thank you right away on behalf of us all for doing such a great job.” David Stanley, Getty Images, Senior Director of Marketing, EMEA
