BRIEF

Story was tasked with creating a memorable evening in aid of Together for Short Lives, with the aim to raise much-needed funds for this leading UK charity. The event was to take place in a central London location, and we were asked to transform a space into an immersive environment so that guests could experience the magic of Disney, the joy of togetherness and feel immersed from arrival to departure.

DELIVERY

Story worked alongside Together for Short Lives for 11 months to develop the theme of Disney’s Frozen II. The night saw guests arrive at Arendelle’s Autumn Festival, with the room transformed with giant set-builds, including an illuminated entrance, autumnal stage-set, product displays, and a village shop. The room was adorned with giant trees, striking woodland florals, with canapes and drinks suitable for a princess.

The night included immersive entertainment from start to finish, with roving townspeople engaging with guests, celebrity compere Louise Redknapp and special guests and Patrons Simon Cowell, Peter Andre and Alesha Dixon. The night’s auction was hosted by author Jeffrey Archer, where bids exceeded expectations – all to improve the lives of the UK’s 49,000 seriously ill children. The evening was concluded with a special appearance from Disney’s Elsa, Ana and Kristoff, a performance by Brit Award winner Tom Walker and a DJ set from ITV’s the Mac Twins.

RESULTS

Story project managed the event working alongside Together for Short Lives, Disney UK, and headline partner M&S Food. The event saw a phenomenal £400,000 raised for families in need.
