Meet Anna...

Hello! I’m Anna Brown and I currently live in Woking. I grew up in Kent and went on to study Geography with Transport Studies at the University of Leeds, including a year in industry with Arriva Rail London. I first discovered my passion for events whilst being the Events Secretary for my netball team at Leeds. Before joining Story, I spent two years at MarketforceLive, gaining valuable experience in the events world. I’m now really excited to start this new chapter and be part of the Show team working on the Summer and Christmas Party Shows!

One of my proudest moments was project managing a logistics conference in Berlin for over 750 attendees. It ended up being one of the best events I’ve run, but it definitely came with its challenges – mainly a tricky venue and a bit of a language barrier. It took a lot of hard work and problem solving, but seeing it all come together so successfully made it incredibly rewarding.

Make time for activities that help you relax and recharge, like spending time outdoors, being with your loved ones, or pursuing hobbies you enjoy. Prioritising your mental wellbeing is just as important as taking care of your physical health.

Outside of work, I love staying active. I’m a member of a tennis club and have recently taken up running, which has been a great new challenge. I also really enjoy going on scenic walks and travelling whenever I get the chance!
