Meet Sophie...

I’m originally from Northern Ireland but moved to London to study Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, where the city quickly became a huge source of inspiration. While I was a student, I found my way into the world of events and hospitality, starting out with Novus Leisure, the UK’s leading multisite hospitality group. From there, I joined Venue Search London before going on to work across premium venues, private members’ clubs, and hotels.

Along the way, I’ve worked with all kinds of corporate clients and built some great agency relationships. Now, I’m excited to grow those connections even further as part of the Story team.

During my time as Head of Sales and Events, I worked on Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace residency at Exhibition London for Adidas’ Celebration of the Originals. It was an amazing opportunity to collaborate with a diverse global creative team and to gain hands-on experience in branding, production, and PR. The highlight was definitely being part of the live performances from incredible talent like Chaka Khan and Olivia Dean.

I always stay focused on the client’s end goal, but I’ve learned how important it is to make time for myself too — it’s the only way to deliver at my best. For me, that starts with one simple thing: getting a good night’s sleep!

I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my close friends and family. I’m also a big fan of live music gigs and going to art exhibitions.
