IFAW Animal Action Awards
Towards the end of 2022, Story Events was approached to tender for the prestigious IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) Awards Dinner. The event aimed to spotlight IFAW's global conservation efforts and honor outstanding individuals in the animal welfare community.
Event Brief
At the end of 2022, Story Events were invited to tender for the IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) Animal Action Awards Dinner. We put together an extensive proposal with our creative ideas and won the pitch in early 2023. The objective of this event was to showcase some of the incredible work IFAW does around the world, and to celebrate the nominees who were voted for the work that they do in the community of animals.
Delivery
BAFTA, renowned for its cutting-edge projection mapping, provided the ideal setting for the wildlife photography and videography awards. The Princess Anne Theatre, boasting Dolby Vision projectors and Dolby Atmos sound, served as the prestigious venue for the awards ceremony.
The event emphasized sustainability, featuring vegan and vegetarian food options, recyclable water cans, and a paperless approach. Guests enjoyed a welcome reception with prosecco and canapés, followed by a captivating projection mapping display showcasing breathtaking wildlife scenes.
The awards ceremony, hosted by Hamza Yassin, took place in the Princess Anne Theatre, where guests enjoyed a preview of an unseen Amazon documentary trailer. Following the ceremony, guests returned to the Ray Dolby Room for desserts and drinks, capturing memories at the photobooth and celebrating with the winners.
Result
The evening ended with a lot of happy guests and long-lasting memories.
