With its bold industrial design, lively atmosphere, and the irresistible scent of fresh seafood, the restaurant was nothing short of captivating. A behind the scenes kitchen tour crowned the experience, making Fiskebar a must visit.

Our second day began with coffee in the sun at Kongens Have (The King’s Garden), accompanied by an exquisite selection of pastries from Juno, from the most incredible cheese sandwiches we’d ever tasted to fresh plum danish that practically melted in our mouths.

We capped off our dining adventure with lunch at Barr, another Copenhagen gem. The three course meal was a masterclass in Nordic cuisine: a surprising waffle with crème fraîche, herbs, and bleak roe; perfectly executed schnitzel with a divine anchovy, citrus and butter sauce alongside a crisp cucumber salad; and a refreshing raspberry sorbet crowned with the season’s finest berries.
