We appreciate that in London we are spoilt with venues to choose from, so to share our expertise, we have hand-picked five of our favourite conference venues. Keep reading to learn if one of these venues would work for your next conference!

 

The Ned

This venue’s value to you:

  • Having opened its doors in 2017 the Ned is a fantastic addition to the London venues market. It is centrally located next to Bank underground station, with fantastic transportation links. It boasts six Grade I-listed meeting and event spaces and two outdoor terraces are available to hire on their historic sixth floor. The rooms retain many original period features, including walnut panelling and vintage chandeliers, as well as ample arched windows to allow for plenty of natural light. Their food and drink offerings span the globe, from Britain to Italy, and North America to Asia. Their chefs work with fresh seasonal produce full of flavour, and clients will have the opportunity to work closely with The Ned’s chefs to create their menu.

Main Plenary and Capacities:

  • The Tapestry Room can host up to 150-200 guests in theatre style or 80-100 guests in cabaret style depending on AV setup.

Breakout room opportunities:

  • This venue offers the following 4 spaces for breakouts: The Drawing Room, The RWB Room, The Rose Room & The Wren Room.

Catering:

  • This venue offers in-house catering usually held in The Saloon. They have a variety of catering options based on a minimum food and beverage spend, which can include a Day Delegate Rate.

 

Sea Containers

This venue’s value to you:

  • Situated at the top of the iconic Sea Containers building on the vibrant Southbank, Sea Containers Events offers a unique setting for a conference. Offering over 25,000 square feet of award winning event space, including an amphitheatre and a flexible meeting space for breakouts, all of which overlook the Thames and boast floor to ceiling windows. We believe that if you are looking for a conference space with a backdrop that spans the London skyline, natural daylight and outdoor spaces, Sea Containers ticks all the boxes.

Main Plenary and Capacities:

  • The Amphitheatre can hold up to 200 guests in theatre layout and all Level 12 Rooms combined together can hold up to 77 cabaret layout.

Breakout room opportunities:

  • For breakout rooms, this venue can offer 4 spaces on rooms on Level 12 that can be configured into a variety of layouts.

Catering:

  • For conferences, catering usually takes place at the top of the Amphitheatre in either of the two restaurants, Sunset, and Cucumber. They offer a variety of catering and event package options, inclusive of bespoke incentive menus drawing on global food trends, presented to fit the iconic setting.

 

BMA House

This venue’s value to you:

  • BMA House is a modern venue with a heritage. For almost 100 years BMA House has sat in the heart of London and has been home to the British Medical Association since 1925. Today, BMA House boasts 22 unique and versatile spaces including 11 purpose-built meeting rooms, perfect for a conference through all being fitted with cutting edge AV technology. This venue also offers the hidden gem of outdoor space, a fantastic option for your guests to unwind in the fresh air during breaks in the conference.

Main Plenary and Capacities:

  • The Great Hall can hold up to 294 guests in a theatre layout and up to 160 guests in a cabaret layout.

Breakout room opportunities:

  • BMA House has many breakout spaces conveniently located close to their flagship room, the Great Hall, and their catering spaces, the Snow and Paget rooms, each equipped with state-of-the-art technology, fully supported by AV technicians.

Catering:

  • BMA House’s in-house catering partner have put together a delicious, seasonal menu that offers 60% vegetarian and vegan dishes. They also offer an all-inclusive Day Delegate Rate package with a sustainable, set two-course hot fork buffet.

 

155 Bishopsgate

This venue’s value to you:

  • 155 Bishopsgate is conveniently located within Central London; just a few minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street Station. This venue offers excellent transport links, fast and secure WiFi, world-class hospitality, inspiring design, and integrated tech solutions. The venue also provides flexible spaces, plenty of branding opportunities (including LED screen walls and fully adaptable lighting features) so you can truly make the space your own. As a bonus, this venue offers an exclusive hire option.

Main Plenary and Capacities:

  • The First Floor provides room for 600 theatre-style and 350 cabaret layout. The Second Floor offers room for 480 theatre-style and 300 cabaret layout.

Breakout room opportunities:

  •  This space has 5 breakout rooms on the First Floor (Bishopsgate 1, Bishopsgate 2, London Wall Suite, Broadgate 1 and Broadgate 2) and 4 flexible spaces on the Second Floor (Commercial 1, 2, 3 and 4).

Catering:

  • This venue includes in-house chefs and kitchen facilities and offers day delegate rate options. Typically, catering stations are planted around the floor to facilitate and encourage flow and interaction of guests.

 

Magazine

This venue’s value to you:

  • Magazine London is an exclusive hire, purpose-built event space ideal for large scale corporate conferences. The hire of the venue includes Space 1, Space 2, Mezzanine 1 & 2, and The Yard and The Terrace which provides impressive views of Canary Wharf. The flexibility of this venue and its spaces, enables the creation of a conference completely unique to your company and will allow the brand to shine through in the remarkable setting.

Main Plenary and Capacities:

  • Space 2 can host up to 1,900 guests in theatre layout and 950 in cabaret layout. This space is complete with a wealth of production equipment included in their venue hire.

Breakout room opportunities:

  • Mezzanines 1 & 2 offer great spaces for breakout or roundtable discussions. Both mezzanine levels are fully accessible via a peoples lift in Space 1, and are interlinking allowing full accessibility to the venue. The mezzanine levels are suitable for capacity of around 180 guests each.

Catering:

  • Space 1 is commonly used for catering space, and this venue uses an exclusive catering partner to provide all food and drink for their events.
