With all of the twinkly lights on the streets and joyful Christmas tunes filling our ears, here at Story we are reflecting on the Christmas celebrations we have created this year.
We have held several wonderful Christmas parties in brilliant and perfectly handpicked locations; including Old Billingsgate, OXO Tower, 8 Northumberland Avenue, the Outernet and many more! We are also going on the road, travelling to Salisbury for our last Christmas event of the year!
We have planned the consumption of over 12,000 canapés, 10,000 bowl foods, and many 3-course Christmas meals, not to mention an array of bubbles, wine, beer and mocktails! We have organised intimate Christmas parties for 120 guests, large-scale festivities for 1,500 guests, and everything in between. Every detail was perfectly planned for, no matter the size of the event.
Theming is such an important part of a Christmas party, and this was not simply limited to tinsel and fairy lights. This year, we thought out of the box to make some truly memorable experiences by creating installations and décor for many themes, including inspiration from the Yule Ball from Harry Potter, Outer Space, Movies, and even Eurovision! Our range of theming has spanned many themed bars, food stations, entertainment acts, production, lighting and much more, and has involved the coordination of many of our trusted suppliers.
No Christmas party is complete without extraordinary entertainment which elevates events and truly allows guests to interact. Some of our bookings this year have ranged from sparkly stilt walkers, acrobats, live bands, magicians, DJs, a Pick ‘n’ Mix store, live pianists, photo-booths and even a karaoke booth!
Here at Story, we are celebrating Christmas at the end of a busy season through our annual Secret Santa day with the whole team, which will no doubt include lots of bubbles and an opportunity for us to eat, drink and be merry!
