BRIEF

This time last year Story were busy putting the final touches to the Together for Short Lives fundraising ball, which was attended by over 250 celebrities and guests at The Underglobe, raising over £400,000 to build awareness and support families battling with life-shortening conditions.

Along with so many charities, the fundraising team have been working hard on alternative channels to raise awareness and much needed funding, as these families struggle with the additional challenges of lockdown.

DELIVERY

Our Story Studio team were therefore delighted to help this worthy cause by editing and producing a series of social media short fundraiser videos for celebrity supporters Holly Willoughby, Mason Mount and Peter Andre as part of their “Christmas Together” campaign.

We also created a longer version including videos from all three celebrities, together with a moving video about Alfie’s ongoing struggle with Muscular Dystrophy and how the charity continues to support him and his family.

You can view the Christmas campaign video here.

TESTIMONIAL

“Just to say a huge thank you to you all for your incredible work on our very hastily slung at you Christmas campaign. The video went down so well last night and sending it out to ball table guests we have already had nearly £4,000 in so am delighted!”

About the charity:

When a child’s life is expected to be short, there’s no time to waste. Together for Short Lives is here to make sure the 99,000 seriously ill children and their families across the UK can make the most of every moment they have together, whether that’s for years, months or only hours.

For families like Alfie’s, every moment counts. This year Kieron, his wife Louise and daughter Mila Rose will be making Christmas extra special, as they don’t know how many more they’ll have left with Alfie.

Together for Short Lives cannot save a child’s life. But with your support they can save a family from a lifetime of suffering. Whether they’re struggling to come to terms with a diagnosis, or if they just need somewhere to turn for support and information.

By supporting their Christmas Together Appeal you can help families like Alfie’s to treasure every moment they have together. Donate online today or text ALFIE 10 or the amount of your choice to 70450.
