Working alongside the Waitrose communications team, Story was engaged to assist with the delivery of the Waitrose No. 1 re-launch to the press. The team were tasked with creating a space that would offer the perfect platform to relaunch the brand, ideally a brand-new venue which fitted the Waitrose brand and where their chef team would be able to work their magic to present an unforgettable tasting menu made up of Waitrose 1 products.


We chose venue, Morton Society, a recently restored historic venue hidden under the busy streets of London, its original features and beautiful furniture were very ‘on-brand’ and with the added flexibility of allowing external catering it seemed to be the perfect fit. Waitrose chefs were then brought in to put together a delicious and hand-picked menu of the re-launched products. The event began with an intimate reception of Waitrose No.1 Cava and canapés

before the guests were invited through the venues hidden door and down to the main dining room. We worked with trusted suppliers to create bespoke tiered platforms showcasing the new products.
